When you purchase a Truely data plan, you will have the option to add a data plan to an existing eSIM or to receive a new eSIM. Below is a detailed guide on navigating the purchasing process.
During the checkout process, you will be directed to the Select your eSIM menu with two options:
- Add plan to existing eSIM
- Get new eSIM
Option 1: Adding a plan to an existing eSIM
Choose Add plan to existing eSIM if you want the new data plan added to a current eSIM. You will see a dropdown list of your existing eSIM ICCIDs. Select the specific eSIM ICCID to which you want the new data plan added.
This option allows you to consolidate data plans under a single eSIM, maintaining simplicity and convenience.
Option 2: Getting a new eSIM
Choose Get new eSIM if you want a new eSIM to go with your data plan. Truely will generate a new eSIM for you.
You will receive a new eSIM to install on your device, ensuring you have a fresh eSIM for your new data plan.
Upon purchasing the new data plan, you’ll be greeted by a menu confirming that installation instructions have been sent to your email address.
Your eSIM installation instructions will look like this.
You can confirm your eSIM and data plan by signing in to Truely > My Account > My eSIM.
