How To Remove an eSIM From Your Device

IN THE APP

  1. Log in to your Truely account using the mobile app.

  2. Go to the ‘MY DATA’ tab. 

  3. Choose the eSIM plan you want to delete.

  4. Click eSIM SETTINGS at the top right corner of the eSIM plan.

  5. Choose ‘DELETE eSIM WITH PLANS.’

  6. A question will pop up confirming that you want to delete the eSIM plan. If you agree, click ‘DELETE.’


WARNING: Deleting an eSIM plan is irreversible. Once you choose to delete an eSIM plan, it will no longer be visible in your archives.


TEMPORARILY DISABLING AN eSIM

You may also opt to disable an eSIM through your device settings:


  1. Go to your device’s ‘SETTINGS.’

  2. Go to ‘MOBILE’ or ‘CELLULAR.’

  3. You should be able to see your eSIM installed and an option to “turn on/off this line.” 


(Note: Turning off an eSIM in your device will not pause its validity. It will still expire after its validity period.)


REMOVING AN eSIM FROM YOUR DEVICE

If you want to delete the eSIM itself from your device, here are the steps to follow:


  1. Open your device settings.

  2. Go to Mobile or Cellular

  3. Tap your eSIM

  4. Click “Remove Cellular Plan” or “Remove Mobile Data Plan”
