Setting data limits on your device

Setting a data limit on your device helps you avoid exceeding your data allowance. It ensures you always have enough data for essential tasks like downloading maps, answering urgent messages, and checking flight details.

Setting data limits on smartphones, tablets, and wearables

Smartphones

  • Android (e.g., Samsung Galaxy): Go to Settings > Connections > Data Usage > Billing Cycle and Data Warning. Here, you can set your data warning and limit.
  • iOS (iPhone): Unfortunately, iOS doesn't have a built-in feature to set data limits. However, you can monitor your data usage in Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Usage.

Tablets

The process is similar to smartphones. For Android tablets, follow the Android steps above. For iPads, refer to the iOS instructions.

Wearables (e.g., smartwatches)

Most smartwatches rely on the paired smartphone for data settings. Ensure your phone has a limit set, and your watch will adhere to it.
